Like them so well I bought a back-up
I bought these shoes in the black leather early in the spring and have been wearing them all summer. I like them so well that I just bought another identical pair so I have fresh ones for next summer in case the rope gets dirty as can happen with espadrilles. That has not happened yet and both the upper and sole have stood up very well.
Although the leather was not hard to begin, it has softened with wear and molded to the shape of my foot. The slightly padded insole makes these more comfortable than most espadrilles.
These fit a bit small. I went up a half size and bought the wide width for my slightly wide forefoot and high instep to make sure the upper edge didn't cut into the top of my foot as this style often does.

disappointed!
I've never bought a "wide" shoe in my life. I don't have wide feet, but these did not fit for anything. i tried on the display pair in the store and i couldn't even get it on, so when i came online and saw that they made these in both medium and wide widths, i figured the display was the medium width, and ordered the wide, thinking they would surely fit. NOPE. if you don't have long, skinny, lord voldemort feet, these will not fit you because they are SO narrow.

disappointed!

Good looking, but.....
I purchased the Sabine espadrille in pink - which is a yummy pink - neither neon nor cotton candy; but sadly am returning them. The soles don't 'bend' when you walk which makes them uncomfortable for practical wear.

They're cool
I'm a huge fan or metallic gold and also Tom's shoes. These are such a nice combo of style with the bling color. The inside of the shoe does feel a bit plastic-y. When my feet get hot, I can actually feel the plastic lining stick to my feet (ew). They are just so cute and versatile that I decided to keep them (good price too) and I am satisfied with the shoes. They go with so much and enable me to be casual but feel cute/cool in my outfit with them.

BEAUTIFUL, but painful.
Ordered these in my regular size 8 M in the black/white stripe. Arrived promptly (thanks as always, Nordstrom!), out of the box were absolutely beautiful. Just the look I was going for. These are very well made...but beware....VERY STIFF. I tried to wear them around the house but they hurt so badly. This color doesn't appear to come in W width, and that's just what I think I'd need. Taking a chance on the 8.5 M and hoping they won't feel so narrow. The 8 puckered a bit on the top of the shoe, and I'm not sure they'll loosen up. I'm always an 8. Sometimes a 7.5 in flats. My advice is to order a half size up. I hope that solves my issue, they are just darling!

Love the look of these shoes. I kind of bought them in a rush and didnt think things through... they are too heavy for me as a slip on shoes and this shoe are too narrow. there are other shoes like this but much lighter. they are currently in the shoe shop trying to make them wider. hope it works.
