really cute!
Yes, the wristband twists—whenever you pull it up or down in changing—but it is so easily fixed! Not a big deal. I’m a size 12, apple shape with a thick waist, and I still found it to be flattering (I got a large btw). I like the way it doesn’t cling under the waistband like the fixed pleats of some pleated skirts do before they flare out—I always find my tummy looks bigger in those. But this is just an easy, beautiful skirt. The other objection I’ve seen is that it’s pricey. I agree—but it’s not overpriced by much. I’ve seen in person some of the “dupes” of this skirt, and their polyester feels like plastic. This has a lovely weight—so great to go into fall and winter but light and swishy enough for spring. It’s awesome. I tried it with a black silk button down, a black sweater, an ivory cropped sweater, and I’m sure there’s a lot more that will work with it. LOVE!

Terrible fit
Very disappointed. It looks great on the model — a hot mess on me. The cut/length was not flattering. It looked frumpy. I’m a 16 with too many curves for the dress to handle.

Great work skirt!
Very cute skirt for work! The elastic waistband is perfect. I struggle with these pleated skirts and showing my lower belly pudge but this one is loose enough that it doesn't do that. TTS.

Runs long and Large
Runs large or the waistband is very loose, I should have gone down a size. The regular is also very long for my 5'3" frame, it almost hits my ankles, ill be getting it hemmed if I cant find it in a petite. Other than that it is super comfortable and drapes beautifully! Ill definitely be wearing this on repeat!

not worth the price
I love this animal print and pleats but that is where my love ends. The band is cheaply made & there is no liner in this skirt. The value of this skirt is more target level not what I have come to expect from Nordstrom or its pricing. It is also very long on my 5’2” frame. I have bought other Halogen skirts and loved them and they had a great band and lining. Not sure why it was chosen to skip these feature on this skirt. If it was like my other midi skirt from Nordstrom I would have kept and just altered to be shorter. But not worth the alteration costs.

weirdly sheer!
This would have been such a cute basic but it’s a true woven- almost a sweater like stitching and that actually makes it see through upon sitting when the fabric stretched! If you want a tights only skirt this is cute but sadly I need this to be more versatile so back it goes.

QUALITY and CHIC for CURVY GIRLS
OMG!! This is the FIRST time I’ve ever decided to buy & KEEP a pleated skirt..even got a thumbs up from my hubby who really isn’t messing with me lately given the amount of spending I’ve done for the Anniversary Sale 2020..yeah I lost my mind!! Nevertheless as deliveries keep arriving on a daily basis, this skirt has been a stand out piece for me..excellent quality & chic..feels lovely on & NOT see through from what I can tell in the Blue mix dot print. It has a nice weight to it & still light..oh & the elastic waistband is not an issue for me, feels well made & definitely NOT CHEAP like some fast fashion items. It skims beautifully over my full/curvy hips (I am almost a 14W, but more just a 14, & 5’7..with slightly longer torso) & I can easily wear this skirt at my waist or higher up (which I LOVE!) & no digging or stress on the elastic waistband no matter how I wear it, there’s a good amount of “give”. I got a size Large & XL..the Large definitely is the BETTER fit that doesn’t provide too much extra fabric like the XL, which I felt made me look “frumpy”. I was soo torn btw which size to initially pick & went w/ the XL since I often “think” I am bigger than I am. If you are my shape/size & want to save some money/returns, go w/ the Large..I have a round wide butt & hips with mid size “fupa” & the Large is the one after I was sooo hesitant to select this size. At this sale price..this skirt is definitely worth a purchase, heck I am already considering the Black color..shhh don’t tell my hubby..YIKES!
