Patent Leather Clutch

Ideal, thin clutch for day-to-evening wedding or other occasion when you need to have your hands free and no weight on your shoulder for a long period. Beautiful, soft color is highlighted by the patent leather. Interior has a wall of credit-card slots and just enough room for keys, lipstick and phone. Chain adds great versatility for cross-body, handbag, or, my favorite, doubled on-the-shoulder wear. I prefer a pointed flap on an envelope bag and, for a particular lace dress, the shiny patent was too much, so I kept a matte Halogen clutch and returned this one. But for a floral dress or tweed suit, this clutch would be perfect. Inexpensive, too.

I was looking for a clutch that could be a go-to for weddings and other special events. I usually wear a pair of nude patent leather low-wedge sandals to weddings, and picked this up because I thought it would match. It's a good size, I like the fact that it has card slots and you don't have to bring a wallet in the bag, and having the choice between carrying as a clutch and using the chain is key. I expect to get a lot of wear out of this, and the sale price was great.
