Hadirat Boot

So disappointed this fall/year. I own two pairs of the Hadirat (black weathered leather). Such a comfortable bootie and at the same time totally cool looking due to its shape and interesting sole. Combined with leggings, etc. looks smashing. Have been getting lots of compliments and inquiries. I wanted to replace the older pair (though it’s holding up very well in damp weather, robust material) and tried three (!) times to obtain a fitting boot. Incl. at Nordstrom, among others. Right away (each time!) the boots felt tight in the toe box area - to a degree that couldn’t be attributed to the fact that my two pairs had already been worn in. So I compared the new boots (size 9, absolutely perfect fit in the past) to my two “older” pairs. Held the soles against each other. Sure enough… the new version is constructed more narrow. Not so easy to notice at first, but significant enough to affect comfort. Why??? Little toe gets squished! The boot looked so cute and not at all bulky. Why on earth change it? Please change it back, or provide both a narrow and a wider version. My existing pairs do not look wide at all BTW, but do look very slim. No good reason whatsoever to make them aesthetically more pleasing by decreasing the width!! I guess I will really have to protect and preserve my two pairs, as in the future I won’t be able to replace them any longer. Unless L’Amour des Pieds brings the original slightly (slightly!) wider version back… Neither should the little toe have to complain, nor should I have to suffer!
