My son is just getting to the stage where he can enjoy stacking these though I think his FAVORITE is to knock down what I’ve stacked! These blocks are so well made from sustainable wood and use non-toxic water based plants. That is so important, especially at the age my son is, because literally EVERYTHING goes in his mouth. There are so many awesome shapes, they come with a handy storage bag, and they are compatible with other HABA block sets if you ever want to expand. No cons for these blocks, truly!

Blocks arrived well packaged and in excellent condition! The box was divided into two separate boxes to separate the colored blocks from the neutral toned blocks. The set also came with a really nice large canvas bag to help store the blocks once opened. Block colors are vibrant and attractive. The edges are very smooth and blocks are coated with a durable clear material to withstand any hard play from the children. My niece and son, both 3, loved playing with them over the Thanksgiving break. There are various sizes and pieces to make pretend play more engaging. I would definitely purchase this product based on my experience — I think it makes a wonderful gift for young children ages 1-3 that will encourage imaginary play.
