It has a delicate violet fragrance that is inimitable and totally addictive.
How to use: Use a Météorites brush (sold separately) to apply evenly to the entire face to set and perfect makeup. For a greater boost of radiance, highlight your cheekbones and other prominent parts of the face: trace a "G" from the center of the forehead toward the top of the cheekbone, then from the bridge of the nose toward the chin.

Heavenly Product
Well, Guerlain really gave this product the correct name of Meteorites since I think it is "heavenly." An acquaintance of mine raved about Meteorites, so I decided to try it. Actually, I bought all 3 shades. My skin is fair, but I didn't want this to be just a setting powder. I digress here for a bit: I'm 61, and have been wearing Jane Iredale pressed minerals for over 15 years. I love JI foundation because it is very light and non-cakey. But, as I've aged, JI has been settling in my newly acquired fine lines and wrinkles, making me look older... not wiser!!! So, I tried a few liquid foundations, but they clogged my pores and caused breakouts. Back to JI I went. Then I purchased the Guerlain Meteorites. I am using it over my JI pressed minerals. OMG!!! What a difference!!! My face has a soft glow about it...not oily, not shiny, not teeny bopper sparkly. My description is ETHEREAL!!! It minimizes the look of lines and wrinkles emphasized by the JI. It feels as if I'm not wearing any makeup. There is no settling of this product in lines and wrinkles. And, I'm not experiencing any clogged pores...Yay!!! There is a very faint scent to the product that to me is quite pleasing. When I touch my face, it feels as soft as silk. I returned the 02 Clair as it is very light and probably nice as a setting powder. I kept the 03 Medium to wear over the JI in the winter when I don't have as much of a tan but just to give me a soft color; and, I also kept the 04 Dore to wear in the summer with a tan. Meteorites are very light. The container, which is quite flattering, comes with a nice puff, but I use a soft brush to apply the product. This is a real heavenly gem that I will be using for a long time.

Picture is Deceiving
If you think you are receiving a jar filled to the rim with these little pearls.. You are MISTAKEN... They don't even fill half the container... For the money... I returned mine and picked up the hourglass ambient lighting powders. They do the same thing and i even like them better.

Achieve perfect illumination with an inner glow
Let me start off by saying I purchased 03 Medium and I have a super light tan, in just a few swirls with a generously sized kabuki brush or whatever brush suites your fancy; you will achieve a natural inner glow. Keep in mind this is not a highlighter, it is not a setting powder, or a bronzer it is a setting powder that leaves you well illuminated. And girl you don't even want me to get into how you'll look in pictures I cannot compliment it enough! ( I have combination dry skin and this doesn't look caky.)
CONS:
Some of my girlfriends who have slight tans, (NC25 in Mac for reference) purchased 02 Clair, and it left them with a pure white gleam all over; it looked like they hit the club too hard. But once they returned it for 03 Medium they loved it, no white gleam!

Very Versatile!
I love this product and the retro tin that it comes in....I also will use the different colored balls and rearrange them together to create a blush or light soft all over face shimmer...I place the ones I want in a separate container to get the look I want....more pink for blush, add some white meteorites and lighten the color, use the gold for an evening out...and the bronzed and yellow colors for a subtle glowing tan...I don't find the scent off putting and it quickly dissipates so it is not an issue for me....I just wish Guerlain would allow you to custom order the meteorites you need for your own personalization...the possibilities are endless....blush, eye shadows, bronzes, all over face shimmer, etc....a great idea for individualized make up needs...until then, I will DIY and continue to enjoy this great product...

Great for Red/Sensitive Skin Types
I have been using this product ever since I purchased it about 10 months ago. I absolutely love it! I mostly use it on days when I don't want to wear foundation, but want the redness on my skin to be "tamed" a bit. I just brush it on all over my face and the redness is calmed! It leaves a beautiful very light sparkle on my face as well (won't make you have a white case on your face, so don't worry about that). I will buy this again and again w/no hesitation! Just a word of caution: don't purchase the brush that goes with this product. Instead, purchase one from Bobbi Brown or IT cosmetics or even Sephora.. - the brush that's supposed to go with this product sheds like crazy!

Love!
This is my first Meteorites purchase. I understand there are various takes of this through the years. Some of the product has settled to the bottom. No problem though, it's not lost or evaporated. I really love this. I don't know why I always just looked at Guerlain makeup and never tried any. I adore many of their perfumes, and a few are my HG. Anyway, this leaves a glorious glow on your face as a finishing powder. Not glitter as in the old time glitter, big flecks, just a gorgeous shimmer, and the different colors even out skin tone. I love it! It gives an ethereal glow to my face. I should apply to neck area as well. There's a glorious violet scent as your put it on which is part of the experience. Nordstrom has excellent customer service online as well as superb service in store.

Mixed feelings
I tried this in 02 Clair. The green pearls had been crushed in shipping (more than the other colors), so I ended up with a lot of green on my face. I have fair skin, and the combo of the yellows, purples, and greens made me look too sallow and strange. Maybe I just got the wrong shade. They also have a peculiarly sweet (like candy) smell. I was also disappointed at how few pearls Guerlain puts in the tin. For $62, they definitely could have filled the tin a bit more. It might make them less prone to disintegrating in shipping.
