SMOOTH!!!
After MANY years of not using an “Eye Stay Primer,” I decided to give this Guerlain’s eye primer a try, and I LOVED it!! I’m so glad I did!! Goes on smoothly and texture is light. Once again, there is not a Guerlain product that disappoints this writer!! I do miss not having a Guerlain Counter at “my store” in The Woodlands!! No worries, you can always order via “Nordstrom.com” or stop by the nearest Store. They will place the order for you; always FREE Shipping and Returns!! Thank you Nordstrom!!

do not recommend
Initially not super impressed. It is a really small tube and if you have any moisturizer at all it does not work. I was looking for something to tone down redness. I have olive skin.

Fantastic and Fabulous
I've tried at least a dozen different eye primers, from various brands, and this one has become my favorite. I like that it is in a tube, that keeps the product fresh and avoids it drying out and clumping (which happens with primers that are in a tube with a wand applicator). You also get a lot more product in this tube than you do with a wand primer.
This goes on very easily, absorbs instantly and isn't greasy or oily. It gives your eyelids a smooth canvas for your eye shadow. I've used this with powdered eye shadows and cream shadows and it works perfectly with either. It makes my shadows easier to blend, and my shadows stay on all day. It is basically colorless, it's not tinted, yet it does cover some of my eyelid discoloration. It also looks nice worn alone, it really lightens up your eyes. As I said it's one of the best I've used (I also love the Clarins eye primer, but that one is tinted), and I will definitely buy this again. It might cost more than some of the others but this one will last a long time and give you more mileage for your money.

Simple & Effective
I tried this, Trish McEvoy, and Nars, all in No Color or Bare, to see which I liked best. This was the winner. All did an adequate job of keeping my eyelids looking fresh, and kept powders from immediately creasing. I choose to use a finger for light, even application, so I liked this simple tube, without an additional "wand". I suspect that this also keeps air out of the tube, so perhaps it stays fresh longer. Very little product is needed for total coverage.
