Princetown Genuine Shearling Loafer Mule (Women)

I love them so much, I ordered a pair for my best friend as well. I order my normal 10/40 in the Princetown without fur, with fur I have myself and extra 1/2 size up and the 40.5/10.5 was perfect. If you have a wider foot, these might require a little break in period. I put a blow dryer in the toe to warm up the leather, shoved my foot inside with a thick sock on, and then wore them until the leather was cool. They stretched right out and were like butter on my feet. I took them in to have a rubber sole added so I could wear them more liberally. One of the best purchases ever!!!

I had a tough time deciding between a half size up and full size. Ultimately, I went with a half size up. Half size felt like it supported my foot better. It was close though. They are extremely comfortable and elevate whatever you’re wearing. I know the leather will relax a little and they will be even more perfect. Personally, I think they look so fun! Looking forward to wearing them more!

If you do a deep internet dive and stalk these for a year or two before purchasing them like I did, you will read many reviews or blog posts talking about sizing up in them. Honestly I wish I hadn't. I'm generally a true nine. And the regular princetown mules I had purchased a 39 and my foot was just over the back edge. In the Brixton I have a 39.5 which fits well. I figured I should play it safe and size up to 40 but now it kind of feels like these will stretch out and my foot will slip out. Plus it is a bit difficult to shove my foot in further into the shoe because it runs into my ankle. Do they make me happy in a these are kind of ridiculous sort of way? Absolutely. Am I wearing them regularly to the grocery store and walking the dog because there is nothing to do? Absolutely. I just wish maybe I had had the opportunity to try them on in a store and would have gone with probably a half size smaller.
