Pilar GG Matelassé Espadrille Slide Sandal (Women)

I don’t have words to describe how disappointed and not in a good way surprise with these sandals. 2nd time I wore them and I noticed a big tear on the right side one in the seam. I would never expect this so low quality from a very expensive luxury design brand. I started a return even if I wore them twice and I expect their understanding. It’s a joke to pay over $600 for something so poorly made. I am not complaining for the price. My major disappointment is for the quality that’s definitely not worthy of the price.

Not a Gucci or espadrille fan but these came in my Trunk. Felt like Cinderella when I slipped them on! They’re perfect for summer. Go with shorts, jeans, dresses, leggings, pj’s - casual, dressy, you name it. I mean Gucci goes with everything! Go with your regular size, trust me!!! I had my stylist size up (from reviews) & had to wait to reship my right size. They fit like a glove. Get them, you won’t be sorry. I’m honestly perplexed by the negative reviews - it must be a younger age group. I’m a true size 7 and purchased 37.

I hate to add one more potentially confusing review, but I tried these on in store and I went down a half size also. The majority of my shoes are a size 7, but other Gucci shoes I have I also bought in 6.5. The footbed does not bend whatsoever, so until the the leather breaks in across the top of your foot, you will likely get blisters. Since I wore them outside before I knew they would hurt my feet, I did two things to help. First, I used clear athletic tape on my feet where the shoes were beginning to give me blisters. The next time I wore them, I used my Hue slide liners, which worked well because the footbed of this shoe is made of jute which helps keep the shoe from sliding off when wearing a liner. Now, the shoes are broken in and don’t rub my feet anymore.

I tried these on in Vegas at another department store in white in a size 37 & I fell in love but the shoe was too big. I’m a true 6 but in all designer shoes I wear a 36.5 so I was hesitant to order due to the reviews but this shoe is comfortable & true to size. I wore it for 11hrs & my feet weren’t sore or hurting. It seems like it’s some type of cushion in the back of the shoe. I received so many compliments & I paired it with a cute beige bodysuit & ripped jeans. If you like this shoe don’t pass it up trust me

LOVE the style of these and swore I was going to wear them with everything this summer! However, I'm very disappointed in the fit. The stitching is very narrow near the toes and it was very hard initially. It is also very heavy so I find myself having to curl my toes to grip them from falling off as I walk. This is GUCCI: I should look like I'm walking on clouds, not walking over fire. They look amazing while sitting and I am very sad to have to return them.
