The side opens up each time you take a step.
I really wanted to love this Gucci Pilar Chevron Flat Espadrille shoes because it matched my purse but the width gets too wide. My shoe size is usaully 9 women's, I went to the store and tried on 8.5, 8, and even 7.5 and the sides open up too wide when you walk (you could stick 2 fingers on the side) I think it's the material used for this specific design. The other espadrille shoes has more sturdiness feel. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

VERY NARROW
I needed a classy pair of flats to wear in the Fall, these are beautiful, but hands down the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn. They’re so narrow, tight, and breaking them in was horrendous. I originally went with my TTS 8.5 and couldn’t get them on, I went up a half size and they’re the hardest to squeeze into. I regret buying these for my birthday.

Birthday Disappointment.
I love the style and quality however I read the reviews before i bought the shoe and bag for my birthday I went with my gut feeling and with pass experiences buying shoe.I am a true wide width shoe person and across the top part of my foot could not get In to this shoe at all I wear a size 10 and I bought a 10.5 i was very disappointed I have to return the shoe....They run small.

I purchased the exact same red Gucci espadrille in size 12M in the past and was very pleased. So I decided to order the black pair. I was very disappointed to find that the black Gucci espadrille was a size too small. And there is no size 13M to exchange up to.

Not what I expected
Not what they look like in the picture at all. The porcelain rose color is a dull shade, the two G’s look rusty and they run big. I’m usually a half size to 1 size bigger in designer shoes but these shoes run true to size. I’m usually an 8 and I ordered 8.5 and they were too big. I returned them immediately and got the Chanel Espadrilles which are absolutely gorgeous and way more comfortable than these. I don’t recommend these at all. Not impressed with Gucci.
