EXCEPTIONAL LIP BALM
This is my first Gucci cosmetic purchase. My review is NOT for promotional reasons. It’s a 100% TRUE opinion/review. My lips are notorious for cracking at the corners to the point they bleed if I don’t use a great lip baume! I’ve tried every brand imaginable in no tint to a light-medium tint including, Burt’s Bees, Carmex, Chapstick, Maybelline Baby Soft Lips, Lip Smackers, Vaseline, Soft Lips, Aveda Chapstick & Nourishing Lip Gloss, Clinique, Lancôme, MAC glosses & lipsticks, Chanel Glossimier lip glosses, Dior Plumping & Nourishing Lip Baume, etc. I must say Gucci’s Baume à Lévres Lip Balm (no color) is the EQUIVALENT to Chanel’s Rouge Coco Lip Baume (no color). The reason I bought the Gucci is b/c it’s in a tube versus a jar. Chanel stopped making their lip baume (no color) in a tube & reverted back to selling it in a small jar. Not only is the Chanel lip baume more expensive but due to germs, I cannot stand sticking my finger inside a pot of lip baume &/or gloss! This particular Gucci baume has absolutely no scent nor taste & glides on effortlessly in order to get the job done: Keeping my lips ultra moisturized! I liked it so much that I decided to order the same formula in No More Orchids b/c I’ve always preferred a lip tint baume versus a heavy lipstick or sticky lip gloss! Plus, those are extremely drying to my lips. Lastly, I must comment that the Gucci Baume à Lévres Lip Balm tube in the turquoise & gold trim is aesthetically pleasing to the eye! The tube is heavier than any brand I’ve held. The Gucci tube design possesses the stunning “Golden Age of Hollywood” vibe, which I adore!

Bad quality
I’ve had to buy a second because my first broke in half in less than a month, a few days later, same thing happened. I keep them in a cool place. The balm feels good but the quality of the hold is horrible.

Impressive luxe lip balm!
Honestly, I ONLY bought this for the packaging, it’s way too attractive. I was pleased to find out it is also a decent balm! I bought the colorless version, so I can’t speak to the tint, but the texture is fantastic. It applies a smooth layer of considerable protection that my lips have loved. Unlike some balms that provide slip-feel with zero hydration, this will soften, hydrate, and make your lips feel smooth and silky inside and out. I don’t use it often but find that I’m already halfway done with the bullet, which is surprising, but maybe I just haven’t noticed how quickly I go through a Chap Stick before I lose it (I refuse to lose my Gucci!)

BEST LIP BAUME EVER
I normally use Chanel’s Lip Coco Baume in natural (no color) & at the time, Nordstrom only had the jar versus tube. I can’t stand sticking my finger in a jar versus using a tube throughout the day to apply lip care or color. I’ve previously tried Dior’s tinted baume & it’s too sticky. THIS, the Gucci Baume à Lévres Lip Balm in Joselyn Claire & the other colors are FABULOUS! They moisturize exactly as they should & proclaim! I strongly recommend this to anyone w/super dry, cracked lips! It’s worth every cent! It lasts a long time… I’m just now needing a second tube. It’s lasted at least four months.

Broke from the bottom right away
I purchased the Gucci Baume à Lèvres Lip Balm JOSLYN CLAIR Item #6000689
It works fantastic but it broke on maybe the 2nd or 3rd time I applied it. The worst part is it broke at the base and I didn't even twist it all the way up. I'm assuming the balm is just very soft. But it works amazing! I'd buy it again just because my lips look healthy and they feel great for a long period of time . I'm almost done with it.
