Customer Lilya described exactly what we wanted to achieve in making this puffer: "It's so light, so you barely feel it. Not bulky in the slightest. But still, somehow, very warm. It's kind of magical; I have room to layer a sweater under it, but can also wear it as a layer under a heavier coat."
- Fabric: 100% recycled polyester ripstop shell that's windproof and water-repellent, with 100% recycled polyester filling. Machine washable.
- Feel: Smooth and lightweight; just-right for cool weather and easy to layer in brisker temps.
- Fit: Women’s fit styles are shorter in length and narrower in the shoulders compared to unisex fits. We use “women’s” in this context so customers can get a sense of fit, not to suggest that these styles are only for certain people!

just what I was looking for
I ordered a M and a L and the M fit me just right. I suppose if I wanted to wear a hoodie underneath, the L would be roomier for this purpose, but I want it to fit more snugly and so I am keeping the M for a closer fit. It is not fitted and does have more of a straight down look but I like on me and don't see it as boxy like some other people mentioned. I don't think jackets should be fitted; it's not a blouse.. The length is also just right, which I guess will depend on ones height. It's actually quite perfect! Very happy! :)

Not slim fit at all
Not at all slim fitting. Very boxy. Would have returned as it doesn't fit at all but I took the tags off not thinking.

Cheap feel, inaccurate color, runs small
I did not like how the texture of the fabric felt to my fingers. The fabric seemed plastic-ky and rather thin and fragile as if it were easy to rip. The color was advertised as "brick" and looked like a brown-red tint online. In person, it was more in the rose/pink region which is not what I was looking for. I am always a comfortable size S but this puffer jacket was very tight above the chest area between the shoulder line when closed. I sent it back.

You need this jacket!
Love this lightweight but warm jacket! It’s perfect for everyday errands and is easily packable when traveling. Pockets are deep enough for hands and the inside pockets are a bonus for extras.
