The Hero Cozy Cotton Shirt

This is the shirt I have been waiting for forever! It is a white button down that is loose fitting, but doesn't look like I purposely ordered a shirt 3 sizes. The shoulders and sleeve lengths are proportionate to the overall size, and can be worn in a variety of ways - sleeves down, rolled, cuffed, scrunched. The shirt is long enough that it can be tucked in in front without there being an excess of fabric, and the fabric itself is lightweight without being see through at all. The shirt can be worn in a rumpled or ironed state, both looking appropriate. The shirt is comfy and soft and I am simply in love.

This shirt seems nice in terms of quality and fit, but it smelled so awful when I took it out of the bag. Both Grayson shirts I got were the same, and my other Nordstrom purchases did not smell like this. It is an outrageously strong cheap perfume smell. Multiple members in my household asked what the strong bad smell was because they could smell it in the other room. From experience, I know that if a manufacturer is adding a ton of perfume to a product it is to cover up some other bad smell such as formaldehyde sometimes used as an anti-wrinkle agent (a very toxic substance). This shirt smelled so strong, there is no way I could wear it. If I want to smell like perfume, I want to use my own perfume. Smells like this usually do not wash out easily so I am having to return it.
