Awful Quality Control

The quality control is just awful. This is my second time getting this boot after sending back my original pair for similar quality issues. The fabric portion has some sort of black stain and the leather has significant finish issues. For a prestigious brand like Allen Edmonds, you are not getting the quality you should be getting.

Poor selection

Same old story. Canadian buyers are left with a poor selection and even then what is available is either too wide or too narrow. Is Canada the dumping ground for everything you can’t sell in the US ?

Great shoe, but runs very big.

Great Look, Great Fit, Great Boots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these boots for about a month now and they serve as THE all-purpose shoe in my arsenal. From day one they have served to be comfortable and have performed great even on some Wyoming winter days. They run a little larger than most of my other Allen Edmonds shoes, so order accordingly. I am going to add others from this line to my collection.

Comfy but sole durability is very low

Very comfortable and fit is good, however, the durability of the sole is its weakness. Picture is less than 6 months of wear, using the boots 12 days/month. I'm a pilot so sitting in the flight deck most if the time, but walking in terminals. For the cost, I'd imagine they'd last longer than 6 months.

Beautiful boot but runs very large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice boot but sizing ran larger even than I expected based upon reviews suggesting as much. Website was out of stock of the next size I would have tried so I went with a different model. Craftsmanship appeared excellent as usual. The leather was a little thinner than I expected.
