Fragrance story: Sitting on the coastal rocks during a cool rainfall, the scent of everything is amplified. The rise of black pepper and bergamot waft through the air, as waterlilies and fresh freesia blossom. The smell of salt on your skin and the wet stones dry in the sun of the mineral oceanside. Suddenly, a fresh and brooding scent exists as you’ve never experienced before. Familiar and new all at once. This is the musk of Jamaica after the rain.

Unique scent and luxurious packaging
This is such a beautiful earthy, smoky, ozonic scent. I get the florals in it, but they are dewy and fresh rather than sweet. I bought it on sale, and I'm not sure if I would pay the regular price for it. However, I do think it smells great, has good throw, and the presentation feels very luxurious.

Quirky name but no
If you're buying a gift for a grace jones fan, this is perfect - if its on sale! It smells vile. Horrible artificial smell that catches in the back of my throat. I received this as a gift and I haven't even considered lighting it. I'm going to gift this to somebody else to get it out of my house.

Tunneling
This has a soft & fresh scent, moderate throw. Calming, I burned a few hours while working. Only issue I have is that it tunnels awfully.

Avant Garde
I am a fan of Boy Smells candles, always great throw, so decided to buy Grace Jones. Now, I did not expect this candle to be pretty as Grace Jones is a strong woman, avant garde,who does not conform. This candle suits this description. Yes, there are floral notes and pepper but, you can clearly smell the stone which is stones sitting out in the summer sun. Be careful buying as a gift unless you know the person will enjoy something different from the normal.

A scented candle convert
I've struggled to get on board with scented candles as I have been disappointed with the lack of 'throw' with other well known brands but this has changed my mind. The top notes are lightly floral followed by a warmth that is not too spicy and it really does smell like wet stones! Random but it has a freshness that rain gives!! I don't know how else to describe this, but I would love it as a personal fragrance. Even when not lit, the aroma wafts through the room.
