Good Skate High Waist Wide Leg Jeans

I loved the fit of these jeans. The waistband does not go in, so it doesn’t push things out. I’m an apple shaped, so this matters a lot. They did run long, so I did get them altered. I’ll be going to these jeans all the time. I’m a 10 in most brands, but am usually a higher size in Good American. I needed the 12 in these jeans.

I am 5'8" tall with a size 14/16 curvy figure. I ordered these GA jeans in size 15. PROS: The denim is soft with comfortable stretch in a nice medium wash, as shown. Good fit through the hips, and the leg silhouette is as shown. The fit is true to size. CONS: The rise is very high with the waist hitting right under my ribcage. The inseam is 35" which is much too long for me.

I cannot wait for cooler weather so I can wear these jeans! I had doubts when I pulled them out, they’re a true skater jean with an exaggerated wide leg. But they fit so well through the hip and booty that your shape is still emphasized and enhanced in true Good American fashion. They are ridiculously long, so alterations are a must. I’m not sure I love the worn hem, I feel like it takes away from the look of the jean, might choose to have a cleaner hem during alterations? Otherwise, I have no complaints. I found the fit to run a slight bit large. I’m typically size 29 waist/denim. I sized down in these and went with a 6 and they’re perfect.
