back of shoe/heel peels with minimal wear
Shoe fits well and looks nice—a bit rounded in the toes, but comfortable for sure.
However, I’ve only worn the shoe about five or six times since I bought it nearly 5 months ago. And I noticed a few times ago that the leather was peeling off of the heel area. Initially, I thought it was some dirt that I may have stepped in, but I walk on the sidewalk from my car to my office And on carpet or linoleum floors once there. I drive with these driving shoes and I think that’s the only time where the heel might be touching the ground. However, I have floor mats like most people do in their car so I’m not sure why they’re getting worn like this.
I realize it may be hard to see this area by other people, but it really bothers me that these nice pair of shoes from a reputable company are wearing out like this. I’m going to return them. I have another pair of Tod‘s loafers that are suede which do not have this issue.
