I have quite a few pairs of Penelope Chilvers boots. Every single pair can be counted on to be comfortable right out of the box. In this brand without 1/2 sizes I actually go down a 1/2 size. Rather than an 8.5 I fit the 8.0 (39EU) better. Can even wear socks. Soft leather, beautiful stitching on this particular pair. If I could have gotten both colors in my size, I would have.
