Single-varietal ancient oolong from Phoenix Mountain, Guangdong, China. Harvested from wild, individual tea trees (not farmed), Golden Phoenix delivers vivid fruit and sweet honey aromas and a rich, flavorful cup. A twisted-leaf oolong: leaves are withered after picking, pan-fired over charcoal at high heat (140-160 degrees) in two stages, then dried in traditional baskets in two stages for up to 3 hours depending on moisture and final leaf shape.
- Ingredients: Oolong tea. Caffeine: High. Brewing: Add 2 tbs to 12 oz boiling water, steep 5 seconds, discard this infusion. Add 12 oz boiling water, steep 3 minutes, serve.
