Love this sneaker

Not Made for Walking
Sadly, these shoes aren’t for me. They felt both tight and like clown shoes at the same time. I’m upset that I took them for a spin to see if I could make them work and now I can’t return them.

The elastic doesn’t do it like slip-on Coverse
Not like slip on Converse - looks and feels like I’m about to step out of the shoe. Maybe a half size down would help, but I purchased my usual 7, sometimes I’m a 7.5 and never a 6.5. I also wish the eyelets were the soft gold like the Gola logo instead of mixing metal colors. I took a gold sharpie to mine and it looks much better than the silver- as it should have been designed.

Cute shoe if you can get a fit
I am very consistently a US size 10, EU size 41, or on a rare occasion a US 9.5, EU size 40.5. I ordered a 10 initially, then returned them for what's listed on the size chart as a size 9, EU 39. They fit well with a thin, no-show sock. Cute style, something a little different than exactly what everybody else is wearing this summer. No problem for me with slipping off my feet. Canvas is cooler to wear than my white leather sneakers. I've worn them with a dress and some linen pants. Love them, happy I purchased, took one star off because of the wonky sizing.
