Love this primer
I really like this primer, it makes my skin look shiny when first applied but once make up is over the top of it, it really shows it’s worth. My foundation has never looked so good, and there’s no poking which can happen to me with other products. My make up stays put all day and I thank this primer for that. I also don’t need to use a moisturiser when using this. It’s great!

highly scented gold pearl sheen
I received a full size in a value set, and was curious to try this as it states it give added moisturisation and enhanced skin with or without makeup. I experienced a cooling effect when first applied - I can see from the ingredients this is due to a menthol derivative. It is also very highly scented. I found this scent unpleasant, and it lingered for a very long time. The cream itself is lightweight and full of warm gold shimmer - enough to tint it yellow - which I did not expect from the brand information. I did not find this flattering at all on my fair cool skin, and when I tried applying to only one side of the face and asked my partner which one looked better he unerringly picked the side without the primer (sadly, I agreed). I did not find this moisturising or smoothing, and apart from the menthol-induced cooling, feel this really should be viewed as purely a cosmetic product. If you have a warm or medium skin tone, you may well like the gold pearl sheen, if you are fair and cool like me you might well dislike it. For me this really failed all round sadly.

A repeat purchase
Rodial Glass Primer delivers a smooth, hydrated base with a subtle glow. It has a lovely light texture. No heaviness at all. It feels really cooling on application. It moisturises my skin and keeps my makeup looking and feeling fresh all day. This is one of the rare products that I repeat buy.

Pretty good
I like Rodial products and this was no exception. I found it went on my skin easily and created a nice smooth base for applying my foundation. It's not greasy or sticky and has a light fragrance. It's not the best primer I've tried but overall I'm happy and I might buy again.

Not as good as I hoped
I got this primer as a sample, but it was enough for a few days. I find that this primer is somehow too shiny for me - and provided that there are tinted moisturizers that already contain those shimmer particles, I just don't think it's worth purchasing. It may be suited for a different type of skin perhaps..

Really great
I didn’t think I was one for a primer until I tried this one that I got as part of a gift set. It really makes a difference with making make last and not wear off. Also gave me a bit of an inner glow so I’m definitely converting to using one.Not every day but this product is excellent for nights out and big days.
