Great winter shoe
I'm not an outdoor runner, but I needed an athletic shoe for store runs in Michigan winter weather. Those days when snow boots are over kill but regular Brooks are a bit too airy. These are perfect! Classic Brooks comfort and support with added warmth of suede sides. Well done, Brooks, well done!

Unstable and Clunky
I sadly ended up returning these. I felt very unstable in them. They're also very bulky in terms of appearance and feel. I did order a size up (normally a women's 8.5, ordered 9) based on other reviews and the 9 fit well. For many years I have loved by Brooks Ghosts but the last few years, these included, have been not up to the quality that I used to love. It's a shame as I really wanted to like these for walking.

Run small

Brooks, not just for runners!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most people might think that Brooks are just for runners. I was diagnosed with arthritis and the only shoes I can wear are Brooks. Of the many pairs of Brooks that I have, these are most supportive. I have spread the word amongst many of my senior or as I’d like to call them, mature friends that they need the stability and comfort that Brooks provide. I’m going to a wedding in April and I will be sporting these lovely pink Brooks.

Nice winter shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for "decent" winter days here in michigan. The suede helps retain some warmth and protection from snow slop. If Brooks ever made a snow boot I would buy it! Until then, I will wear these babies. They ran a little short compared to my other Ghost Max, so I sized up 1/2 size and the fit was right.
