The addition of stiff plastic reinforcements to the top lace holes is problematic. I’ve worn Ghost’s for years and have never been disappointed until this model. The stiff, thick plastic around the upper lace holes is unnecessary and super uncomfortable. It has no give and drives into my foot with each step. I’ve never experienced this in a sneaker before and hope it gets removed for the Ghost 18’s.

My only shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started wearing the Ghost 7 years ago when I was marathon training and my foot pain was so bad I almost gave up until I discovered this shoe and it has been the only shoe that doesn’t hurt my feet so I can still run today!

Painful ankle cutouts
They are totally different than the previous models of Ghost. I have 5 pairs and I love the old ones. These Ghost 17 hurt my ankle bones right out of the box. They have never done that previously. I’ll be returning them

Great show!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to shoe for road running and walking. Super comfortable, plenty of room for toes, and the right amount of cushion for me. They always have new colors along with something simple depending on what you are looking for in a shoe.
