Curve^® Classic Curl Iron

My hair stylist suggested I use steam rollers rather than a curling iron, to avoid damage to my thin (but lots of it) hair. I tried both a curling brush and steam rollers to achieve the volume I want, but both were more time consuming and less effective at getting a firm curl that I then brush out and spray for a sleek and very voluminous look. Using a heat protection spray seems to prevent any damage from the high temp setting and my hair is silky smooth, not dry. I relied on so many great reviews of ghd hair tools to choose the Curve Classic Curl Iron over others, and agree it is worth a 5-star review, and the cost.

This review would have been written with or without the sweepstakes entry. I researched curling irons for 3 months and read countless reviews. The GHD consistently came up as the best iron to purchase. Here is what I like: The iron heats up very quickly. The curls are very nice, with a nice sheen. The cord does swivel. Here is what I don't like: There is no off button. The iron automatically shuts off. How long, not so sure, because I am paranoid to keep it plugged in while I am not at home. People rave about three day curls. I cannot. It could be that I don't use a lot of spray or product to style. The tip of the iron is much to short to use without burning your finger. Overall the iron is good, but hard to justify the $200 price tag.
