Fisherman Sandal

I ordered the brown/raffia, and they are gorgeous! They have a lot more gold in the weave than I expected, but still read Brown. They were surprisingly long; my big toe didn't reach anywhere near the end of the shoe. I will order a smaller size (8.5). They are really nice and look expensive!

I love this sandal. I ordered it in cream colored woven leather, which I think will look striking with bare feet now and a light sock in fall and spring. It’s quite substantial, with a firm sole and heel. After reading reviews, I went down a half size and that worked. For me it’s expensive, even on sale, but I think I can wear these for years.

I usually wear a size 11/42 (no exceptions), but that size was a full 1" too long on me! I returned for a size 10, and they fit perfectly. The leather is soft, and the contrasting raffia is really a nice touch... they look great with my crazy expensive Brunello Cucinelli safari-style items. I think I'm going to buy a black pair!

I guess I kinda paid attention BUT I should’ve bought 3 trial sizes on initial purchase. Buying another color to test size needed. I went down 1/2 size…still tooooo long. As stated in previous review. I am now stating go down a FULL size not just half. Could be an AWESOME sandal if I can get correct fit. This is a new brand to me. Usually I stick to my faves so I don’t have to return & buy more. Let’s make fingers crossed.

I went a full size down, usually 9 and bought the 8. My foot is more narrow. I had been trying fisherman sandals and was finding they were all running long (hello Tory Burch). They fit great, though a little big across the instep on me, but the strap and toe area compensate. Bought the snake. No arch support but I can add it if I need. The leather sole is quite slick so be sure to scuff it up before wearing out. For the price (on sale) they are a real bargain. Well made, sturdy shoes.
