Georgica Jelly Flip Flop (Women)

I've been eyeing a pair of these sandals for weeks! I'm not a huge fan of the traditional Jack because the heel is clunky and it doesn't flatter my long toes. I own a pair of python Navajos that I probably have only worn a handful of times out of the couple of years I've had them. I tend to have better luck with Tory Burch sandals but decided to give JR another try. I love the jelly!! The shoe is exactly what I was looking for!! I have a very narrow foot so it was hard to find a size that worked. I visited my local store because I wanted to try them on. I am a true 8 but in the jelly I am a 7. I could barely keep the 8 on my foot… the shoe length was great, but WAY too large width wise… so I went down a whole size. I love that the sandal is a solid color making it super easy to dress up and down. I can't wait to wear them to work. Beware, they tend to be slippery on the bottoms when first worn. I only gave the sandal four stars because it doesn't come in half sizes. A 7.5 would have been perfect, but the 7 is doable. I ordered them in black.

I recently purchased this shoe in a different color in August. I actually purchased them for my entire bridal party and wore them as my "something blue" for my fall wedding in October. I did not get to wear them but a handful of times (and know for a fact I didn't wear them from my October 3rd wedding until now 6-7 months later because I found them cleaning out a bag in my closet from the wedding night). I wore them today to work and at the end of the day one of the side straps broke. I teach the third grade and do not have a job in which I put a crazy amount of pressure or stress on the shoe that I was only able to wear maybe five times. I also looked up the warranty from the Jack R. and it says they place no guarantee on any product. Once its in your hands liability is gone. It is just disheartening to pay that amount of money for a jelly flip flop and not have it last an entire season.

I ordered these for my wedding weekend and honeymoon in the "bone" color. They were perfect for getting ready and for other wedding-related activities, and then subsequently, were amazing for our honeymoon. We went to Playa del Carmen and were always at the beach/pool and leather would most definitely have gotten ruined but since these are "jelly" they held up amazingly. Love these shoes!
