What it is: A targeted acne-cleansing paste formulated with Salicylic Acid to help reduce and prevent acne without drying skin.

What it does: This acne-cleansing paste helps reduce and prevent breakouts without drying your skin. It contains 2% medicated Salicylic Acid to help treat active pimples and prevent new ones from forming, making it ideal for sensitive and pimple-prone skin. This formula also contains Kaolin Clay and Charcoal to help absorb oil and draw out impurities, and soothing Cica-Centella and Glycerin to help reinforce skin's barrier to prevent dryness.

Key ingredients:
- Charcoal: possesses strong absorbent properties that help draw out excess oil
- 2% Salicylic Acid: a medicated beta-hydroxy acid that helps to clear acne while exfoliating and refining skin texture
- Bio-Based Cica-Centella: derived from Centella Asiatica, an ancient medicinal plant, Centella Asiatica Extract is known for its efficacy on sensitive skin. Within our formula, it is known to help reinforce the skin barrier to help prevent dryness

How to use:
- As a cleanser: Dampen face with water. Dispense a small amount into hands and lather onto face. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow with your face serum and moisturizer.
- As a face mask: Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
- As an overnight spot treatment: Apply a small amount directly to blemishes. Leave on overnight and rinse off in the morning.

A must for forever acne sufferers.

This will be replacing the rare earth mask for me. This is a better product that does even more. I’ve always had the same level of acne my whole life, even into adulthood. Wearing this wash as a mask and then washing it off in the shower has REALLY reigned in my sebaceous glands. Will be a staple for me.

About to expire product

I bought this in June and this product expires in September. This only gives me less than 3 months to use this product. Also, because product is about to expire, the consistency is watery as well. Very poor quality.

Cleared my break out fast!

This acne paste has worked amazingly on my face and neck the past several days. I only just got it but had to leave a review because of how well and fast it’s worked to clear my skin while I was having a breakout. Cleared up my blackheads too. I used it as a mask 2 days ago and try to leave it on for a min or 2 when washing daily. I’m def sticking with his face wash! Wish I tried sooner as it’s one of the last products I’ve tried with Kiehl after trying and using the majority of their products! (All outstanding!! Esp wrinkle line)

Great and effective

Finally cleared my hormonal breakouts

Good!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this paste as a daily cleanser on my acne infected spots for about 2 weeks. The texture is thick but spreads easily, and it rinses clean without leaving skin tight or irritated.
