Espadrille Wedge Sandal

These ran a little bit big so I almost returned them. I showed them to my friend and she said I had to wear them. I’m glad I did, it was a long event (military promotion ceremony) and my feet would have been miserable if this pair hadn’t had that bit of space. All those hours and I didn’t feel like I needed to take them off as soon as I got home. I’m looking forward to wearing them more.

OMGosh gentle souls in wide width I was so excited! But the ankle straps are gigantic! I would need a shoemaker to put extra holes to secure these. For info - the champagne ones are gorgeous for a fancy event … with sparkly threading on the espadrille part.

They are okay. They look nice enough but do not feel very sturdy. I don’t expect them to last very long. My Franco Sarto version lasted years and always looked current.

Finally! An ankle strap that doesn’t just shred the back of your ankle. I was on vacation wearing a pair of wedges I’ve had for years for one block and got a horrendous blister and they also were impossible to walk in, so I just left them there and ordered these because they had the word “gentle” in them haha. They had arrived by the time I got home and I wore them immediately, all night, and my feet felt so good. I can’t believe it, I’m so pumped. I’m going to wear these shoes until they fall apart. True to size. Easy breezy.
