Super cute sneakers - Do not size down
I wear a 9.5 in sneakers and sized down to a 9 which were too small. 9.5 would have been perfect and now they are sold out. Don't size down! Hoping for a restock!

Cute and comfy!
I love my 471s. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The flexible upper doesn’t rub or pinch, and they’re soft underfoot. The slim, vintage silhouette works with lots of outfits. I swapped the insole for more arch support. Overall, a great everyday shoe I can wear all day.

Good, not great
Bought these online because I enjoyed the vintage look but when they arrived I was underwhelmed by the manufacturing. The top of the tongue shows open foam (not stitched closed) and the leather segments around the toe aren’t a single piece so the toe looks like it was pieced together with remnants. The shoe is ok to wear but it’s not nearly as well made as older pairs of New Balance I have enjoyed. Pretty disappointing to see this brand getting enshittified.
