Best Purchase of 2022
I can’t say enough good things about this robe. I got the Shell color and it was a light pink as pictured. This robe is so cozy and feels luxurious! I am 5’3” 110lbs and I got a size 2 for an oversized fit. This robe is perfectly cozy 100% recommend!

9" less fabric width than the old Barefoot robes!
My original Barefoot Dreams robe was absolutely wonderful. I pretty much lived in it for 12 years. I decided to treat myself to a new one. I am 5'5" tall and weigh 118 pounds. My old robe was a size 2, so I ordered another size 2. When I tried the new robe on, it didn't come together in the front near the bottom, leaving a big gap from above my knee down. I took it off and measured the width of the bottom edge of fabric on the new robe and it measured 56". I measured my old Barefoot Dream robe and it measured 65". There you go. There is NINE INCHES of fabric missing! No wonder the robe doesn't close in the front! Ordered another size 2, thinking the first one must be defective, and it was EXACTLY the same. So incredibly disappointed. Instead of being skimpy, a better solution would have been to charge more for the robe. I would have paid it. It was worth it. It certainly isn't anymore.

Design & Quality
I have purchased for robes over the past 8 years. The first time the 2 robes had large arms for move around comfort. The fabric was fantastic and washability was great. No pilling and the fabric stayed thick and plush. After a few years we decided it was time for new ones.
The new ones have slimmer arms, less plush fabric and generally only held up for less than half of the length of time we had the first ones. I'm sorry to say that we will not recommend these robes to anybody.
Oprah gave this company a huge boost when it was on one of her favorite things shows several years back. I bet she wouldn't have it on again if she tried the new thinner and less plush ones they are trying to sell now.
Definately will never purchase again!

Not Worth $ for One Season of Wear
I've had 2 of these robes. Had I written this after having just the first, I would be writing only superlatives.
#1 wore out after many washings and nightly wearing during chilly months in Seattle. It was soft, cozy - perhaps the most comfortable robe I'd owned. Well, it did wear out after about 4-5 years. To replace it I didn't even need to shop or look at alternatives. I immediately got another BD.
I just threw #2 into the trash after just 2 years. Same wearing frequency & I have better washer/dryer for the past 3 years. After a couple of months I noticed it began to stretch out all over making the weave of the fabric less dense and, therefore, less impervious to cool air. (Lots more lint in the dryer lint screen). The sleeves became long and the tie ended up measuring more than 9.5 feet long.
Well, I just bought a replacement, but it certainly is not another BD. If they'd not compromised quality, perhaps to keep the cost about the same, I probably would never have owned anything else. As it is, $98 is too much for something that lasts 3/4 to 1 season.

Already falling apart
I’ve had this robe for 2 weeks, and there’s already a hole in the armpit from the seam falling apart. For the price, this definitely should not be happening

Sad!
I bought this robe to replace a Barefoot Dreams robe I had purchased at Nordstrom years ago. The original one was soft and cozy. It was of excellent quality and lasted me for years. I was thrilled to see it back and on sale. I was not happy when I opened the box. It is not nearly the quality of my previous one and the material is not that soft cozy feel like my first one. The thickness was also very different. Sadly back it went. For now I am digging out my old one and going to keep it until I can find a replacement.

cozy chic robe
Nordstroms as always was fantastic, but the robe is a BIG disappointment. I am going to try again for another one. The robe material and creamy color were wonderful! But, i am replacing my last cozy chic robe, which generously wrapped around me. This new robe is SOOO much smaller and doesnt wrap properly. I am hoping the sizing was just off. I will try another and hope it wraps much more, especially around the legs. There is no comparison between the old cozy chic robe and the new one. Old one is a charm, and the new one does not work at all. Cozy chic, if you are listening, please add back the extra material to the robes to wrap properly!
