Genaissance Discovery Set $1,630 Value

As I approached my 65th Birthday I decided to seriously upgrade my beauty routine. So, of course LaMer was my brand of choice. For years I’d heard beautiful women rave about the moisturizers, cleaners, serums and oil treatments. I purchased about 12 different products, including loose powder and the liquid foundation. And, the winner is, as in my favorite product is the Genaissance Infused Lotion. Initially, I purchased the Genaissance concentrate—but it actually gave my forehead wrinkles — where there had been none. Returned it and was about to abandon all LaMer products because I It had been highly touted as the ‘best”. At 650.00 it certainly was the most expensive. The LaMer representative made me a sample of the infused lotion, I used it and immediately feel in love with how it felt on my skin. I kept all the other products, but most days I only use the infused lotion and the moisturizer as a base for my foundation. And I am quite happy with those two products

This is post facial wash pre-serum essence like SKII Essence or other pre-serum products, which I love. However, La Mer has created a product that makes your skin feel like silk, literally. I can't get enough and just a drop is all you need! My skin is smooth and soft. I follow with La Prairie Absolute Filler, which is like butter. Definitely need if you want smooth, healthy, beautiful skin. BTW, there's no oily residue and skin s radiant.

This is a brilliant concept: the magnified tip is just the inventiveness La Mer needed to launch this new product in the genaissance line. I am a very picky shopper and even though the price points are quite indulgent, I would say you cannot find a better, more envisioned product for your eye area. This may pull on your purse strings, but if you can swing it, it should last 5-6 months since this is a very concentrated creme. The other eye creams in this line, unfortunately, cannot compare if you are in your later years..and need an eye creme to hit all the main concerns.

I received a generous 5ml sample jar of this as a GWP, which lasted me just over a month. It has a rich, but not oily texture. The quality of the cream feels sumptuous and unmistakably high quality (as any eye cream at this price should!) and it does hydrate my eye area well, without causing milia. However, it's perfumed. I cannot use this during the day as it stings my eyes, no matter how small an amount I use. My guess is that it's the fragrance, as the only time this has ever happened before was with Natura Bisse's 'Diamond extreme eye cream' which was also perfumed. The only time I can use this is just before bed, when I can close my eyes and find they don't react to this. The one big difference with the sample size is that you don't get the 'micro-circulation' benefits of the massage tool that comes with the retail product, however any similar metal rounded object can achieve the same effect. In my case a silver teaspoon kept in the refrigerator for a extra cooling effect did the trick. As for results, I haven't noticed any difference at all to the lines directly around my eyes, or expression lines at the corners. I bought this lotion and a sample came with it, so I tried the sample first. It does feel luxurious, but I have also used the treatment lotion and feel the results are good with that. Perhaps I will feel that this is a better product the longer I use it, but for now I feel that for the price point, the treatment lotion is a smarter buy.
