I so wished this to be an amazing product!
My skin has never been and is not sensitive. And I have been using the classic La Mer collection without any issues. Whatever has gone into this one, causes red spots / rashes on my face, as well as tingling / itching / burning sensation. Separate review on eye cream to follow, but there's something about the Genaissance series that goes against my healthy skin and body.

Great product, too expensive
I've used the night balm since shortly after it was introduced. I have dry, sensitive skin and use all the La Mer products. I happen to love the night balm. I find it keeps a beautiful balance to my skin and, even using it every other night, provides a refreshed radiance to my skin, Sadly, though, I'm no longer going to continue its use. In my opinion it is outrageously expensive and the price keeps increasing. I can no longer justify this kind of expenditure for my skin care, even at rationing it to use every other night. At this rate, I wonder how long it will be before La Mer prices itself out of the market!

Not worth the money
Sensitive skin, decided to try this and the result was much worse than expected. Moreover, it makes my skin feel unstable and didn't notice any difference in terms of anti-aging/renewal. Absolutely not worth the money when the result is worse than using the regular creme de la mer.

Gave me spots and itchy skin
I got this product with a few other things. I was not allowed to sample it. My skin is great condition. But this balm broke me out and made my skin itchy within 3 uses. I was informed it would make my skin really glow and amazing. The opposite is true. Dull, Spots and itchy skin. I regret spending this amount of money on a product that will now be thrown in the back of the cupboard. La Mer used to be a great range but now am not so sure.
