Gemma Beaded Floral Cocktail Dress

This dress is the most gorgeous color and the embellishments are amazing. But, there is literally no stretch. So, while the size small fit my waist as expected- my caboose was puckering up the fabric in the back but my 34A did not fill out the bodice in the front, leaving almost a one inch gap. I also can’t see this working for anyone super busty either. My best guess is this would be ideal on someone with very moderate curves - a B/C cup and only so curvy on the bottom. For reference- I am 5’4”, 124lbs and slim/athletic with a small bust and a much bigger behind.

This dress is absolutely stunning. I love the embroidery, beading, and deep maroon color. The fabric feels high-quality and sturdy, though it doesn’t have much stretch. I’m usually between a small and a medium and chose the medium. It fit well through the waist and hips (with some room to spare) but there was a noticeable gap at the bust. I’m hopeful I can have it tailored. I’m short (5’1) so it fit more like a maxi dress.

This dress is beautiful, solid construction/detail, and the merlot color is stunning. I'm short and the length is perfect for a semiformal event hitting me at the ankle. However, the bust on this dress was so small, I couldn't even zip it. If you're busty like me, size up. Also, this dress is VERY HEAVY. If you're looking for a light-weight dress/fabric to accommodate warm weather or suitcase travels, this is not the dress for you.

I really wanted this dress to work. Merlot color is gorgeous and the mix of materials keeps it light enough to work at a summer/fall event. Great boning and structure. But, the top was too tight for me to zip all the way up. I’m a 35 in chest and have an athletic build - 130 lbs and typically a size 6 and S or M. Small fit well everywhere else. I did not have time to order and try on the medium so I can’t compare.

Sizing is off. An xl fit like a medium.
