Gema Water Resistant Bootie

Ron White is a new brand for me. Euro sizing ranges always make it difficult to know the correct size, so I went with the larger range. The boot felt big for a 10, but maybe it would be fine for a 10.5? I am considering reordering because 1) the boots have a good amount of room in the toe box, 2) it has Chelsea styling, but also a zipper, and 3) it is waterproof. However, something about the style is delaying a reorder. The boot is chunky and I liked the unexpected beading on the heel, but the welt just doesn't seem to match the rest of the boot. First, the welt protrudes quite a bit for my taste on this style of boot. The welt also has little diagonal hash marks on it, which gives the bootie a western vibe, which doesn't tie in with the silver beading. Finally, the shape of the round toe (from the top view at least) is not really interesting compared to the rest of the bootie. The boots feel comfortable and with the proper size the rest of the style issues might not bother me. So, give them a try if you know your size.
