Gallway Stretch Boot

These boots are fine. I like pointed toe boots, but few with low heels have enough volume to fit a slightly wide forefoot and high instep -- these do. I took my usual size in this brand for a closed shoe/boot (versus a sandal) which is a half size up from most other brands. The description says "Textile and leather upper/leather lining." What this means is the main foot area is suede with leather lining and the shaft is fake suede-looking synthetic fabric. If you look carefully at the photos you can see where the seams separating the two materials are. I find the fabric shaft to be loose on my narrow calves so it bags a bit. The footbed is Poron which means not hard, but it certainly isn't cushy.

Great style, fit and comfort. Love the heel height and own this boot in 2 colors. My only objection is the strange contrast color (natural leather color) of the zipper pull. The light color of the pull, contrasts sharply with the boot color and looks like you have an AirTag right above your ankle! I manually color corrected the pull tabs on both the brown and black boot but this tab should be dyed to match the color of the boot, in my opinion!

Was looking for a suede tall boot for fall. Saw these and thought I'd give them a try having never worn this brand before. The shaft of these boots are a soft, floppy material that ends up fitting nice and snug. My calf measures 14" (measured at the widest point with bare legs) and these boots fit great through the leg with no gapping at the top. The toe has a very flattering pointed silhouette and the heel is a reasonable height (I can't do super high heels) I plan to wear these with skirts in the fall. If you have a wide calf, they may not work. If your calf is super thin the material may ride down. But if you have a true medium calf - the fabric has a bit of stretch and recovery (not a ton) but I walked around a bunch in them and it stayed put.

I have been looking for Navy boots for some time now and wanted something with good quality. I was lucky to come across these as I had purchased a different type of shoe from this brand during the Anniversary Sale last year and they worked out great. I purchased these boots and so glad I did. They fit beautifully and look really nice on. I look forward to wearing them this fall and winter.
