Belted Hooded A-Line Coat

I love everything about the fit and quality of this coat, except the hood. It is detachable and the collar is so well designed that without the hood it’s a great look. I like hoods and the issue I have is that it will cover my head and protect me from wet weather but it has nothing to keep it over your head. A slight wind and it will fall. It also is loose around the face, which is why it would fall as wind would get inside the hood, but also I don’t expect it to keep my face warm from sharp winds. If a hood isn’t important to you, than I’d rate it a five. The material is soft and you can move easily in it and it can be dressed up or casual. It is a mid-warmth coat and I think layered with a sweater it will be good for all but the very coldest temperatures in the Midwest where I live and still not bulky or overly warm. It has style that is classic and modern at the same time. I will have this coat a while I am sure. I can wear a thicker sweater beneath it and be comfortable. The belt makes this coat flattering. I am 5’4” and 132 lbs, average bust and I have narrow shoulders and back but not skinny arms. I ordered a small and it fits great.

This is a lovely coat. Runs on the small side and sizing is confusing. In ordering the sizes are listed as small/medium and medium/large. When the coat arrives it say medium for the small/medium size and the medium /large size is label large. Makes it difficult for purchasing correct size when you are purchasing online, which we are forced to do because the store inventory on everything is so low.
