At last--a modest and feminine dress at a great price, and a skirt length that's appropriate for many occasions! And navy, not black! Nordstrom buyers: more like this, please!! As the previous reviewer noted, this particular style is cut large. I normally wear a 12 or sometimes a 14, but bought this in both colors in size 10. The armholes are a tad low-cut so be sure that your underpinnings are attractive or invisible. I would take off half a star for the polyester (unsustainable) fabric, but with so many other things going for it, this is a 5 star garment. The fabric is described as satin, but it's not shiny and slick. It feels more like a medium-weight sueded silk, and it drapes beautifully.
