The picture doesn't do it justice.
Perfect! I didn't give this dress a second thought when I saw it online but I tried it on in store and it is a knock out! It is very flattering and slimming. I didn't have any trouble with gaping between the buttons, there is actually a hidden hook at the midsection to keep it from pulling as you sit. For reference I am 5'4, 125 pounds and a 34B, I am always a 4 in this brand and it fit perfectly. The material is really nice and heavy, this is a timeless piece!

Cute Dress too bad it runs so small
This is a cute dress with nice fabric but I tried 3 sizes and all too small. It runs really small The 3rd size I tried in any other brand I would normally be swimming in and I couldn't come close to buttoning. Sadly I will be returning and looking form something else.

Almost perfect!
This just arrived yesterday, and I’m on the fence as to whether to keep or return based on the buttons. I have probably 7 or 8 GMG dresses and I was excited for some of the new minis in the resort collection. I bought this one in a 0 regular. The fit is ALMOST perfect, but since the buttons are functional (and the only way to get the dress on and off), one of the buttons pulls slightly at my chest. For reference, I am 5’3, 110 lbs and a 32D. The other thing about the buttons, the holes have some loose threads around them so when I try to unbutton, it keeps getting caught on some of the threads.
I say all that and I’m still considering keeping because the color and cut is lovely, and outside of the button hole issue, the fabric has some heft and provides some nice structure. The other thing to consider is that this is a true mini. I would normally buy petite, and didn’t in this case. The dress still hits about 3-4 inches above my knee.
