Gorgeous!
These are beautiful and fantastic quality. I had actually purchased these a while back, but they were always a little tight on the toe height, of all things. The toe is reinforced, so they won't crunch down like some other frye boots I have, but because of this there wasn't much space from top to bottom for my toes. I made the mistake of believing the person that said they'd stretch, since they're leather. I ended up not wearing them more than a handful of times because of this issue. I finally got the nerve to bring them in to exchange them. The cashier was a gem and would not give up until she found the transaction on my card. She took them back and ordered me a half size up. I'm incredibly grateful for Nordsrom allowing me to exchange something like this after almost a year. This is why I shop there. If you make a wrong decision about fitting, you know they'll have your back. The boots now fit great! I'm normally a 6.5 to 7. ALL my boots are a size 7, these are a 7.5 so u might consider a half size up from your normal sizing when purchasing these. Now to find them in black as well...

lace up boot
The quality of these boots was poor. I have always been a Frye shopper but the leather on these looked cheap. Sent back right away did not even try on.

Classic
These are serious ladies combat boots. They are made from sleek, great smelling leather, that shapes to your foot. (I bought them in black.) The tread is heavy, but flexible. The only thing that makes them less than perfect, is that the laces are surprisingly short- they are waxed and stay closed, but I need a longer set! If you are going to spend on boots, buy these.

One of my FAVORITE boots!!!
I bought these boots in the "whiskey" color from Nordstrom 4 years ago and they are still one of my absolute favorites! They are EXTREMELY well made and have held up beautifully over the years due to the high quality leather and other shoe parts (even the laces look as good as day one). If you take care of the leather they do pretty well in wet weather too (as long as you don't go puddle jumping or wear them for extended periods in rain). Definitely recommend, if I could give 6 stars I would!

Style, quality and comfort
I love these boots so much, I got them in two colors, black and whiskey. Superb craftsmanship and quality. Very comfortable. I am a size 6 and took 6.5 in these. I do need to unlace them almost completely in order to put them on, I have very high arched feet, but for the style and comfort it's worth it!

The perfect combat boot
I love this boot. It definitely did take a couple of wears to break them in - they were very stiff the first time I wore them, and gave me some blisters! They also looked too new and perfect when I first got them, but are now getting a great worn look. I think this shoe is the quintessential combat boot.

Great boots
These boots are comfortable and look good. The first time I wore them all day shopping and they were comfortable. They look great with jeans. I feel, with the smooth leather and sleeker style, you get the combat boot look and style without being too bulky. The leather and over all quality is great.
