Don’t buy
The shoes delivered look nothing like what is pictured. The quality, color, materials, and fit are all well below the price

Nice boot if it fits you
When I originally purchased this boot I was very happy. The color is a very attractive shade and the leather itself is very supple for the most part.; although the heel takes forever to soften up. However, the leather develops stains quite easily - you don't even need to be caught in the rain for the leather to develop stains. A waterproofing agent could help prevent stains, but would also darken the color significantly. This boot does run large, but also narrow, so I found that it is really difficult to get a good fit. To some degree they do resemble clown shoes because of how the toe curls up, but I don't think that is very noticeable and is probably due to how they fit. After 4 months some of the stitching, where the leather is sown onto leather (near the eyelets), is coming apart, which is extremely frustrating. If I was to purchase again, knowing what I know now, I would choose another brand primarily due to the fit and how easily they stain - I can't even wear these while using aerosol cans because if anything gets on them they will stain. As much as I wanted to like them, these stay in my closet most of the time.

Good but not great
This shoe looks better in pictures than it looks when you wear it in my opinion. The front of the shoe is curled upward which makes it look a bit less like a comfortable boot and more like a clown shoe. The leather is nice, the color is awesome, and if you like the toe pointed up on shoes then this is probably the perfect shoe for you.

Perfect Fit
My wife has been raving about her Fryes for years, so I finally decided to buy a pair for myself. I was most nervous about the fit: Some shoes I wear a 10, some a 9, but mostly 9.5. I ordered 9.5 and they fit perfectly. They also look great - somewhere between a cowboy boot and a workbook. Best of all, they're comfortable right out of the box - no need to break them in (and suffer blisters along the way). I'll definitely be buying more Frye boots!
