Samantha Hiker Boot

I didn’t like the boots. They are hard, not comfortable and not warm. I expected a little comfort for the price. Returned.

This boot looks better in person than online . It’s a beautiful color, and the shearling lining is pure bliss!

I was slightly on the fence about this boot at first as I did not want something too cutesy and I feared that the shearling collar caused them to skirt that realm. However, the design of the rest of the boot— the rubber lug sole and the form-fitting vamp— give them just the right amount of edge. They look great with a crop jean, or with a turned-up straight jean. The brushed, waxed leather is gorgeous and is a true neutral that looks as good with black as anything else. I have several frye boots and shoes, all of which are a size 10, but I opted for an 11 in these so that I can use an insole and wear a thick wool sock. I think they are the perfect companion to the rest of my Frye collection!

These boots are so comfortable and warm. Great for winter and very stylish. Fits true to size.
