Campus 12R Boot (Women)

The boots are gorgeous and the suede is beautiful but it hits my calf at THE most unflattering spot. They either need to make the shaft shorter or taller. These boots make my calves look tree trunks! The fit is so weird, too. I had to check several times I had the boot on the right foot. For almost $500, these should look and feel like a dream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sized up from 6 to 6 1/2 after reading many, many reviews. It was a good call! They do slip a bit at the heels, but with thick socks it doesn't bother me. They're definitely chunky, clunky, and have not a bit of cushioning. I'm a "pain is beauty" type of shoe lover (not that they're painful), so once I wore them for a few hours around the office I was totally comfortable in them. Super cute style; can't wait to wear them with skirts, dresses, and jeans.

I had been eyeing this style of boot for awhile, and when I saw these suede ones come in stock, I jumped on them. I love them. Very comfy and stylish. I am a size 6.5, but ordered the 7, and they fit good with thicker socks, I didn’t want to risk them being too snug (other Frye 6.5 were too tight in the toe box area). I sprayed them beforehand (with suede spray) to hopefully keep them looking nice for years to come. This boots are pricey but know I will use them a lot.
