This jacket runs extremely big. I would honestly size down at least 2 sizes. I’m shocked at how big this runs. I bought a 10 US size (and size 12) and I should have ordered a 6 which is not my normal size. I’m a medium normally. Also if you are petite this will run long. It’s more sloppy lifting if that makes sense.
I think you get what you pay for. I have a beautiful Theory wool/cashmere blend coat and it hangs and fits beautifully. Moral to the story you get what you pay for. My Theory coat was $575 and I love it
