Frisa Weatherproof Knee High Boot

Nice quality leather and I love the waterproofing being built in. I have worn this brand’s boots and shoes for almost a decade. This year is first time a boot in my size ran too long…to the point I would scrape the toes if I kept the boots. Returned, sadly.

I normally take a 6.5 in a boot or 6 in regular shoe. I have a pair of Aquatalia loafers that I purchased a while ago and had to size down to a 5.5! Because of that I ordered this boot in a size 6, generally you size up a 1/2 size when buying a boot. Everything about this boot was perfect, however the heel was so lose that every step I took my heel pulled up....definitely an irritation that would cause a blister. I can't imagine wearing a 5.5 in this boot as fit was so perfect in the rest of the boot I thought it would be too tight in foot and calf to go smaller.
