Babysoft Rib Button Front Long Sleeve Sweater Dress

I’m 5’4, 123 lbs and originally ordered a small, In both colors. Reviews are so helpful, but only if there are some details. In this case, I had to take a chance….and another chance. I returned the small, ordered an extra small, in both colors. Not really sure if there was much difference….HUUUUGE. So, there you go. In my case this dress isn’t happening, but if you can go down two sizes minimum, good luck. By the way, the length was good. Came to a good spot, not to be too short or too long. But the width! Holy cow. Giant. Now I have to wait at least a month for a refund, as Nordstrom is slow as molasses in this area.

I got the black in my usual size. It’s big and slouchy, which I like and expected. The sleeves were a little too ballooned out at the wrist for me, but I could’ve lived with that. I didn’t notice any gaping between buttons and would have felt confident wearing it as a dress. Dealbreaker was the fabric - so itchy!! Had to return as too uncomfortable for me.

Was so excited for this dress but there’s literally no way I could wear it as a dress. It’s so short (granted I’m almost 5’ 10”), but also, the buttons are functional so it gapes open at inappropriate places. It looked like I was wearing a large cardigan and forgot to put on pants. Definitely going back!
