Excellent MTB shorts.
I love these shorts! The first time wearing them, I could tell a lot of thought and intention went into these shorts. Now, they're the shorts I reach for the most. They are clearly designed with the MTB athlete in mind. The cinching pulls at the sides of the waist perfectly customize the fit. The material is super duper light and dries quickly. Essentially, I never once thought about my shorts while I was ripping trails, and that's pretty much the best attribute a piece of performance clothing can have.
Sizing was right on. I am 5'5, 130lbs, waist 27, hips 38, and the size 4 fit on the loose side of perfect. I do have to pull the cinchers at the waist in all the way. I'd say if you're on the cusp of sizing, it's safe to size down.
