Great footbed/toebox, VERY narrow shaft
I got the blueish color, which is really lovely and unusual. I got a 7.5 -- I'm usually a 7 in sandals, 7.5 in shoes & boots. My foot is *slightly* wide at the front (not enough that I buy wide width shoes) and I have a narrower heel. These are very comfortable throughout the footbed and toebox. The shaft is the narrowest boot shaft I've encountered in all my years, and I am a person who buys a lot of boots. At first I could not get the zipper up that last two inches. Around the house I kept giving it a try on carpeting in case I ultimately needed to give up and return them. Now I can fully zip them but OMG they are so tight around the upper portion of the shaft that I worry about wearing them for hours at a time. So I'm gradually stretching them out around the house but at this point I do believe they're keepers. The quality in every other regard is top notch. Couldn't decide how to rate the fit and width ratings here to accommodate the glaring issue of the shaft so it's best you disregard those and just rely on the narrative.

the boot shaft was PAINFUL
the boot shaft was PAINFUL when I walked in this boot..the width and toe box were wonderful, I loved the colors..darn shame..i thought I had the perfect boot for my mother of the bride mountain top wedding..

Shaft is NOT narrow!!
I was happy to see reviews of a narrow shaft but these are normal at best. Not sure if the weight of the other reviewers but I’m 140lbs and have extra space in the shaft. Toe box is large and boxy. Steep heel - will be a nice add to jeans and a sweater in fall/winter. Love that they are leather.
