Merry Holiday Waffle Knit Cotton Graphic T-Shirt

I pulled a medium and a large at the store and tried both of them on back-and-forth probably three or four times trying to decide which one actually fit. This top wants to be the typical FP gigantically oversized look, but I feel like ends up just being a slightly oversized and boxy version of true to size. Overall I could not pass up the print and color AND I had a gift card so I’m keeping. But I do wish they would’ve made this a little more interesting, like making it off the shoulder or longer in the back. I’m not sure this will look truly GREAT on anyone in terms of the fit, so depends on how much you like the aesthetic. Photo in jeans is Sz Lg and in leggings is Sz Med.

First, I got an extra large, my normal Free People size, being cotton it would shrink. Of course it was oversized, but my problem was the logo started under my breasts. Not good. So I ordered a medium, and it's the same way. The picture online here is not accurate. I don't know who wants a graphic to start on the top of their stomach and go down to their crotch unless it's a big grandpa with a beer belly. Sadly had to return both. It's a very cute design, the shirt itself is nice, but all is lost when the graphic is so un flatteringly low.

Oversized thermal fabric on the thinner side. It has somewhat of a pajama look but could be dressed up with the right pants/jacket. Neck has adorable embroidered holly leaves and berries. Graphic for the cat shirt is sooo cute. The cat looks so annoyed and frazzled. I can relate. Fit is oversized and comfy. Perfect for a casual Christmas dinner. What I would change if I designed this: I wouldn’t have done pink for the shirt. This would be cuter if it was a cream color. Long sleeve! Definitely a winter shirt so I was surprised that FP made a t shirt. But I know FP usually makes their long sleeve thermals very fitted and the sleeves are always way too long for me. Is it worth the full price of $98? No way. But got it on sale! And I’ll be keeping this one for December years to come!
