Honeypie Teddy Jacket

Not really fair to give a mediocre review to a jacket you only tried on. I actually own this jacket and it is FANTASTIC! Sooooo snuggly and warm. I can't explain how good it feels to wear, between the softness of the fur, the oversized fit and the fact that it's double-breasted. One great thing (for some reason) is the pockets. They're sort of angled, patch pockets and they're placed EXACTLY where your hands should go. The lining is the exact same color as the jacket - a light grayish lavender. The color is so unusual and pretty. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, get this. I highly recommend.

I ordered the dusty lavender and love it but it’s NOT true to size as described on this page. I was swimming in my usual size, have ordered an exchange for the next size down, and am hoping for the best. Also, it sheds like crazy! When I receive the smaller one, assuming it fits decently, I’ll try lightly running a vacuum tool over it or putting it on a no-heat dryer cycle to see if that gets most of the loose fur off for actual wear. If not, I’ll likely have to return it because I wouldn’t be able to wear it anywhere without the lint roller I use for my cat’s hair ready for use on me —and anyone within six feet of me— at all times.

I put it on and burst into laughter - at 5'8 and 150 pounds I usually wear a Large - this jacket looked like it was made to fit a giant. The sleeves hung 3 inches past my fingertips, the bottom of the jacket hit my knees, the shoulders drooped, and the textile is this weird rumpled clumped fake fur that looks like a giant used fake fur blanket. I cannot imagine actually wearing this in public.

Playful, muted lavender color, soft, sheds a little bit and i only tried it on. It's huge though, i felt like a linebacker in it. definitely size down. I bought a medium (i'm between a small and medium) because i wanted to be able to wear sweaters under it...it just doesn't look good though. It's not at my local store so to exchange at the store isn't possible so I'm trying to figure out if i like it enough to try the small-if it's worth all that effort-it just doesn't seem like it will be very flattering. So I'm on the fence.
