My favorite barrel jeans
I purchased these directly from Free People in a 25. My waist measurement is 28 inches. These jeans fit perfectly. A little slouch and the legs are barrel but in good proportion for a size 25 jeans. I am 5’1” and the 26 inch inseam is perfect for me. I get compliments every time I wear these.
The negative is that all these free people jeans vary quite a bit from pair to pair. If you are lucky, you will receive a pair that is properly made, or even better, you will be able to try them on in store.

strangle sizing
Was unlucky with the sizing. First ordered usual size 31 and they were HUGE-like falling off of me. So ordered a size 30 and couldn’t even button them. Previously I tried these on at the FP store and this didn’t happen but didn’t buy them at the time and they are sold out now. Guess I’m just unlucky and not meant to be for me! I would suggest starting with a size down from your regular size tho. They are adorable!
